Heather earned her Bachelor of Science along with her teacher certificate from Faith Baptist Bible College. She began her teaching career in Iowa where she assisted K-12 homeschool students for thirteen years.  She also taught elementary school for three years. Heather enjoys using hands-on techniques that teaches math in a visual way and helps develop students’ confidence.

When she is not teaching, Heather enjoys spending time with her family. Together they enjoy traveling, disc golfing, and exploring their new home state of Michigan.
