Turning Pages is a non-profit organization that provides one-on-one tutoring for children and adults, in reading, writing and spelling. We tutor using the Orton-Gillingham approach which is multi-sensory and phonetic. We also provide training for parents in this approach, so they may create effective lessons for their home-schooled children or for tips and techniques when reading and spelling at home.
Turning Pages also seeks to bring awareness to reading disabilities such as dyslexia by making presentations at area organizations, for parents, maintaining a resource library, and collaborating with other agencies who support the learning differences of our students.
