Christopher Feenstra

B.S. in Applied Biology, Natural Resource Ecology

Chris served twelve years in the United States Marine Corps as a Field Artillery Operations Chief. His passion for teaching was found while serving as a remote sensing and ballistics instructor at the Fires Center of Excellence, Ft. Sill Oklahoma, and the Artillery Training School, Camp Pendleton California. Following his military career, Chris attended Arizona State University where he earned a B.S. in Applied Biology, Natural Resource Ecology.

His passion for science and mentorship led Chris to seek a teaching position at Lake Michigan Academy where he strives to bring practical applications of STEM and personal growth to the classroom.

Chris enjoys spending his time with his wife and two daughters, beekeeping, and anything that has to do with farming/sustainable living. He also loves video games and discussing anything video game-related.
