For seven years, Erin taught high school history. Most recently, she took on the responsibility of teaching in the upper elementary classroom. She earned her Bachelor of Science along with her teacher certificate from Grand Valley State University. Recently she received her Master’s in the Art of Teaching from Aquinas College in the field of Learning Disabilities. Erin views teaching as a holistic process with the goal of making learning meaningful and authentic to her students.

In her spare time, Erin enjoys boating, kayaking, reading, gardening and, most importantly, spending time with her loved ones.
